An Adventure Awaits - The air is bitter cold and the ground frozen. Walking through the neighborhood, the trees are bare and the world is asleep. I often wonder just why I am out walking on this cold January day. Shouldn’t I be inside where it is warm and cozy, candles lit, cocoa at my side and a good book at hand? But, no; out the door I go. Why, because of the unexpected surprises. Today I found this delightful shoot breaking through the soil. I think he forgot to look at the calendar. Spring is still weeks away but he is already bravely reaching for the sun. It takes a brave soul to leave comfort and security and head out into the unknown.
