For the staff at Floral Design Institute, the creation of a Distance Learning Career Program was not something to be taken lightly. We know how difficult it is to replicate a classroom learning experience into an excellent home study program. And, if a distance learning floral design program was going to bear the name "Floral Design Institute" it would have to be the finest program available.

We introduced our first distance learning program, Basic Floral Design in 2002. The reviews from both the professionals who evaluated the program and the students who enrolled were fantastic. More importantly the results were outstanding. Today we have hundreds of distance learning graduates who are happily pursuing successful careers in the floral industry.

Many of our graduates focused on careers in wedding design and asked us for advanced distance learning training. In 2006 we introduced a new distance learning program, Advanced Wedding Design.
