With his wife Leanne, David is the co-owner of
Floral Design Institute, Inc. and serves as Chairman of the corporation. He is also
the WebMaster of the FDI web site, the Director and Editor of FDI training videos, the
Designer and Writer of all FDI marketing materials, Designer and Photographer of FDI
floral design images.
David has been an active speaker and
educator in the floral industry throughout the United States and Canada for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Floral Design Institute, David was employed by Teleflora, (an
international floral wire service and retail florist services company) for 13 years. He
served in various U.S. Executive Management positions and as the General Manager of the
Canadian Division of Teleflora. David is a expert in floral business management and serves
as a consultant to several national and local companies, both in the U.S. and Canada.
David is an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, AIFD.
He teaches the Business Programs and selected Floral Design Programs at Floral
Design Institute.
David and Leanne's world revolves around
flowers. They have homes in both Seattle and Portland and split their time between the two
FDI campuses. They love to travel, always together, always by train (if possible),
and always to attend floral conventions, floral design seminars, training programs, floral
exhibitions and events. |
