There are excellent housing options at all budget levels for students taking classes at the Floral Design Institute in Portland. We have selected accommodating which we know to be comfortable, safe and clean. All are within an easy commute or walk from the Institute and Downtown Portland. With all selected accommodations you must contact and make arrangements directly with the innkeeper / management.   Always ask for a Floral Design Institute "student rate" and a discount on extended stays.  We attempt to keep prices and other information up to date, but we cannot make any guarantees.

If you are on a budget, this is the place for you.  For those of you unfamiliar with hostels a hostel is a hotel with dormitories rather than private rooms. There are separate facilities for men and women. Rates with a membership ($39 yearly fee) are $16.00 to $19.00 per night, plus tax.  There is an extra charge of $1.00 for linens.  Non-member rate is $24 per night.   Private rooms are priced from $30 to $42 per night, with a weekly discount of $6 per night and a monthly discount of $12 per night. This hostel is clean, safe and very well managed. There are group cooking facilities available.   For longer stays make your reservations well in advance.

This hostel is located on 12 blocks from our Learning Center; requires a 12 block walk.
