| In the Flower Shop and in the classroom, we use these shears to cut
nearly everything, (except flowers of course, we only cut flowers with a sharp Florist
knife). Yes, you will find shears in the marketplace sold for the purpose of cutting
flower stems. And, it is OK to cut flower stems with shears when harvesting, and
perhaps when trimming a hand-tie bouquet. However, the hydration cut on a flower
stem should never be done with shears or scissors. for more information on this
