Step 1:  PREPARATION & MECHANICS

Presoak your Oasis Wreath Ring by setting it in your sink or large tub of water.   You should let it set for several minutes to ensure full saturation.  Begin by setting your ring on the Charger Plate or Tray.  Now, you can cover the inside surface of the ring with the Galax Leaves to keep the foam from showing.  Once the leaves are in place, set your bubble bowl into the center of the ring.  (This may sit upon some of the galax leaves.)

Step 2: CREATING TEXTURE & RHYTHM

Insert small 6 - 10" lengths of the curly willow into the foam.   Winding around the edges to create a wonderful "vine-like" rhythm.   Next come the sweetgum pods.  Clutch wire two or three together for ease of insertion.   Stagger the clusters around the wreath.  Place them on the top and the sides to balance evenly.  Also, begin inserting small pieces of cedar and juniper to cover the foam base.  The cedar works nicely tucked underneath the willow branches.

Step 3: FILLING IN THE FORM

Insert your roses through out the wreath. Clustering two or three blossoms together will give the wreath a more contemporary style.  Next, add the Gerberas.  Again, group the blossoms if you want a more contemporary style.  Lastly add the freesia to balance out the wreath.  The wonderful elongated stems drape nicely across the wreath surface.   Be sure to stand back and check the view from all angles.  It is easy to skip spots around the sides of the wreath. ( I always seem to find the bare spot after I run out of flowers.)
