Step 4:  COVERING THE MECHANICS

Use your extra bits of  juniper and cedar to cover the last exposed areas of foam.  This is also the perfect time to tuck in the Christmas balls and any remaining sweetgum pods.  If you have any stray pinecones, nuts, berries,or other seasonal treasures around the house, they too can be inserted at this point.  This type of floral wreath truly becomes a tapestry of color and texture.

STEP 5:  ADDING CHARM

Cut your ribbon into three equal strips.  Dovetail or slant cut the ends for a polished look.  Clutch wire each of the three pieces about 3 inches from both ends.   Insert one wired end into the foam and wind the ribbon throughout that area of the design - securing at the end by placing the remaining wire into the foam.  Repeat this step for the two remaining pieces.  Now, just add water to the bubble bowl and float your candles.  What a lovely centerpiece!  The party can begin........
