A helpful hint:  To keep the wire from cutting through your foam, you can place a 1" length of  stem from any of your flowers under the wire.  Just lay the stem on the foam and wire across the top, connecting on either side of the basket.

Insert the pussy willow stems in a parallel fashion to create a vertical framework for the design.  Repeat the vertical lines with the two monte casino stems.  I cut mine apart (approximately 5 smaller pieces) to fill out the basket.  As you place the willow and monte casino, be sure to fill in the full depth of the basket.  This will prevent the basket from looking  stiff and one dimensional.  At the base, cover the plastic bag with sphagnum moss and fill in with the privet foliage to conceal the foam.  Lastly, tuck the hypericum berries near the center to create you focal area.
