Step 1:  PREPARATION & MECHANICS

Begin by lining your buckets with the black plastic bag or a liner.  Of course, the liners are best.  But, if you do not have one to fit, you can use multiple layers (at least four) of the garbage bag to ensure a leak free container.  Place the presoaked floral foam into each bucket and secure into place with waterproof tape.  A little tip, an empty bucket laying on its side can be just as fun - leave it plain or add a few blossoms spilling out.

Step 2: CREATING THE FORM

Using the blooming Hawthorne Branches, create the form of the design.  Start with the largest bucket and create the outlines. Then, using the shorter branches (or left over pieces) create the design outline in the smaller buckets.  As you work, think about how the buckets will be placed and create relating lines that will visually "link" the components of the arrangement.
