| Often I hear flower lovers say, "I love tulips, but they are
frustrating to arrange". Yes, tulips are unruly. But, that's part of
their beauty. Just go with their "wildness". Drop them into a vase
and enjoy them as they grow over an inch each day. Bending toward the light, against
gravity and creating exotic lines and wonderful shapes. On the left is a photo of a mass of fading tulips that I found at my favorite
French Cafe in Seattle this morning. Isn't this a simply wonderful arrangement?
I found a seat right next to the flowers. It was a perfect Sunday morning. |
