| Step 4: ACCENTING WITH FLOWERS You
will find that creating a round bouquet is easy if you remember your geometry. Think
triangles! To start, begin inserting the Black Magic and Red Velvet roses into the Hand
tie nest. Place one in the middle and then form one triangle of roses around it. Then, add
the rest of your roses to visually create a round form. Next, add in 3 gerbera
daisies to fill the center of the bouquet. Continue the symmetrical
triangle placement with the Gerberas for visual balance. Lastly, tuck in the
3 stems Macarena spray roses for depth. Place these a little lower in the bouquet to
peek from under the vibrant red blossoms. |

| Step 5: CREATING TEXTURAL INTEREST Insert your Lisianthus into the bouquet to add mass and interest. Tuck each down
a bit lower than the roses for visual depth and density. You may need to break each of the
stems down into smaller clusters to distribute evenly. Assess the bouquet for
balance and adjust any materials as needed. |
| Step 6: MAGIC TRICKS OF THE SEASON To add in the special touches of Autumn, use the Oasis floral adhesive. (cold
glue) You can easily fill in any open areas with a pod or cone. Small fruits,
grains, or nuts also work well. Just add a bit of glue to the item, tuck it into
place and hold for a moment until it dries. The glue will be your secret to Autumn
design success! |

| Step 7: FINISHING THE BOUQUET When you are delighted by the overall design, bind the bouquet using raffia. Hold
the bouquet in one hand and add the raffia into the same hand
Grab the opposite end
of the raffia and rotate it around the bouquet several times to secure. Make certain it is
tight and tie the ends off in a knot. Over the top of the raffia, ribbon wrap the bouquet
stems using a coordinating ribbon. Lay your bouquet flat on the table. Start with the
center of the ribbon length under the stems at base of bouquet. Bring the ribbons over to
top of stems and begin the wrapping. Continue wrapping until you reach the
bottom. Then, wrap back to the top for double coverage of the stems. (The bride will
love the extra padding!) Tie the remaining ribbon into a bow at the top
of the bouquet stems. Viola! A perfect autumn hand tie bouquet! |
