Description: Multi-petaled, funnel shaped flowers.
Colors: Very wide variety of colors and bi-colors.
Botanical Facts: Named after Captain William Clark (1770-1838)
Design Notes: Good mass flower.  Can also be used as a filler flower.
Purchasing Hints:  Purchase when buds are closed, but at least 1/4 of the buds are showing color.
Conditioning:  Remove all foliage that will be below the water line. Cut under water with a sharp knife.  Hydrate in a solution of warm water and commercial floral preservative / floral food for two hours before storage or usage.
Additional Notes:  Godetia, (goh-DEE-she-ah) comprises a subgenus of Clarkia.  Cold temperatures can cause Godetia blossoms to turn bluish or transparent.
