Grids are happening all over the design world. "This grid trend came to me while viewing a recent television advertisement utilizing the concept of sectioning off the screen to promote different products."

"I am utilizing this same concept to section the view of items, to promote their view. Each person’s life is a ladder; growing, changing, moving and turning toward each new experience. My artistic interpretation represents such a trek through life, day-by-day, year-by-year."

Erik Witcraft has been working as a professional florist for 12 years. In his career he has worked as a floral designer at Flowers by Dorcas – Portland, City Flowers – Portland and as an instructor at Floral Design Institute. Erik is currently employed as a designer at Gallery Florist in Vancouver, WA. Erik’s design work has been featured in the Oregonian and on local television.
