Sage's inspiration for this design was her younger sister and best friend who died in June of this year. "I wanted to create something that would allow people to experience my emotions and feel the essence and her beauty. "I have found myself trying to find signs of her in nature. I want my design to allow others to share my feelings through the beauty of flowers and the use of "Ivy", her namesake."

Sage Ashley Marcella is a student of photography and graphic design and has a love for flowers. She spent three years working on a farm growing and arranging flowers. Sage is a graduate of Floral Design Institute and currently works at Sammy's Flowers in Portland and her own floral design studio, Ivy - Sage Designs.
