The inspiration for Shannon's design comes from a foundation dedicated to balancing the short attention span of contemporary civilization and promote long term thinking, planning, understanding and responsibility.

The spaced rocks allude to the span of geologic time.  The triangle is composed of old oxidized copper wound with shiny new copper wire, a juxtaposition of old and new materials.

The inverted triangle represents now at a single point between the rocks, the opposite side of the triangle the span of time and its mathematical contexts.  The flowers show the consistency of temporary beauty over time.
