Happy New Year to you all! January offers a clean
slate, a fresh start, new hopes, new dreams and a chance to stretch ourselves as we reach
for the stars. Like so many of you, the events of 9/11/2001 have led me to carefully
re-evaluate my life; “What is really important? Am I living a rich and fulfilling
life today? What legacy will I leave for the next generations? Do I love my life?” |

These questions and many others have led me to
set several goals for myself that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that these
goals will guide me like the stars in the sky to live a life that has value, is fun,
exciting, fulfilling, and socially responsible. |

¶ Do What
You Love.
I love working with flowers, I love people and I love teaching. The “floral
industry” is a perfect outlet for my “passions”. Be it in the Flower Shop
creating a “perfect bouquet” for that special customer. Or, in the classroom
helping someone create their first bouquet..... This is what I love to do. And, because I
do what I love, I eagerly look forward to every day, (even when it starts at 4:30am). I
don’t mind working long hours or extra days and I never calculate what I make per
hour. |
