Inspiration
You never know where it will
come from, what form it will come in or when. There is only one truth, Inspiration
will come along only when you are ready to receive it. You need to make time for
inspiration to enter your life. Time to be rested, fresh and eager to learn. |

Yeah, Right! you are thinking. After I take the
kids to school, finish my day at work, go shopping, make dinner, and do the laundry
plenty of time for rest and inspiration.
I couldnt agree with you more. Just how do we fit time for ourselves in a busy day?
No doubt you have heard the old axiom, If you want something done, then ask a busy
person. Over the years I have had the chance to pose this question to
many busy people and have gathered helpful hints for adding time to your day. Time that
can be devoted to fun, learning, exercise and inspiration. |

The most important bit of advice that I have
learned from successful busy people is Think Small. Dont try to carve
out extra days or hours in your schedule. Instead look for minutes. Saving a single minute
here and there is how you build real time for yourself.
Becky made me laugh when she told me about her microwave
minutes. You know how that three minute microwave defrost, or the five minute potato
seems to take forever when you're waiting. Thats when Becky cleans out the leftovers
in the refrigerator or writes a letter to a friend. She doesn't have time to dedicate to
cleaning or letter writing. But, the microwave minute, now thats different. Try it.
I did, and I was amazed at what you can accomplish in three minutes. |
