image004.11.00.19.054 Materials-1.gif (95503 bytes) The favorite part of this design is gathering the materials.  Take a walk through your garden and the local Farmer's Market. Look for under-ripe fruits and vegetables.  Under-ripe will last best in your designs.  You’ll find that even potatoes, garlic and onions are beautiful. I found sone wonderful minature red eggplant for this arrazngement. Take a hike in a nearby woods or even a vacant lot.  There may be lovely pods, berries, branches and foliages that you can gather for your centerpiece. Pay special attention to color and texture, you’ll want a nice assortment. If you don’t have enough flowers in your garden, look for lovely fall colors while you are at the market.

 Once you’ve gathered your materials, you’re ready to begin!
