The favorite part of
this design is gathering the materials. Take a
walk through your garden and the local Farmer's Market. Look for under-ripe fruits and
vegetables. Under-ripe will last best in your
designs. You’ll find that even potatoes,
garlic and onions are beautiful. I found sone wonderful
minature red eggplant for this arrazngement. Take a hike in a nearby woods or even a
vacant lot. There may be lovely pods, berries, branches and foliages that you
can gather for your centerpiece. Pay special
attention to color and texture, you’ll want a nice assortment. If you don’t have
enough flowers in your garden, look for lovely fall colors while you are at the market. |
