New Year’s Day and the Pasadena Rose parade are over. It’s time to head to the flower market for bundles of tulips, bunches of daffodils, pots of hyacinths and armloads of pussy willows. When you have received your January issue of the Floral Design News and filled the house with spring flowers, then spring has begun.

I love springtime. I’m happier, I have more energy and I’m more creative. Spring fills me with enthusiasm and all things seem possible. So, I start my spring early and keep it for as long as I can.
