What’s hot for
this summer? Unusual and casual, multicolored bouquets, opulent and extravagant, roses,
colorful feathers, glazed ceramics and colored glass vases.

| For the perfect polychromatic bouquet you need at least 5 different
colors with similar intensity. Think all pastels or all shades or all pure hues of color.
This grouping of pink, purple, orange, yellow, and green in a blue vase gives you 6 hot,
intense colors. Next, think about the shape of the flower. There are 4 to choose from
– form, line, mass and filler. Choose at least three to create the most interest.
Filler is baronia, form is ornithagolum, and open roses, allium and hydrangea for mass. If
you desire, you could add the fourth category, line, with a bit of willow, beargrass or
larkspur. |
