It will take two or three layers to fully hide the plastic and blend into the stems. The top of the cage is wrapped with a stem or two of plumosa to begin concealing the foam.
If you cannot find galax in your area, salal or large ivy leaves work just as well. As a substitute for plumosa, consider sprengeri or Italian ruscus – use most anything that is long and draping.
