Glue galax leaves to the back of the holder to completely cover the plastic. It will take two or three layers to fully hide the plastic and blend into the stems. The top of the cage is wrapped with a stem or two of plumosa to begin concealing the foam.

If you cannot find galax in your area, salal or large ivy leaves work just as well. As a substitute for plumosa, consider sprengeri or Italian ruscus – use most anything that is long and draping.
