It is such fun to catch up with graduates as they pursue their floral dreams.  Some are shop owners, some are designers, some turn to wholesale and others – they pursue their dream of growing beautiful flowers.  Graduate Laurel Oglesby is one of these special combination floral designer/growers.

Laurel joined us in 2001 to “Do Something She Loved”.  Her knowledge of floral design combined with her passion for growing flowers has resulted in a wonderful entrepreneurial business for Laurel and her husband.  I found Laurel selling her amazing parrot tulips last year at the Portland Farmers Market.  Her flowers were gorgeous!  I’m happy to say, “She’s back!”  Mark your calendar and visit her next week at the market – this may be the end of her tulips for the season so don’t miss the chance.
