But, a summer rose from the garden still seems the most beautiful. "It’s summer time and the living is easy…"

Yarrow loves the summer time. Long sunny days and hot, dry weather; these are the makings of beautiful yarrow. Pink, white, red, yellow and ivory – it blooms in a myriad of colors. The yellow is the hardiest and dries beautifully just sitting a vase. The other colors, while lovely, are just not quite as sturdy. They will dry but you need to hang them upside down to keep them from drooping and looking “dead” rather than “dried”.

It's Summertime!  The markets are filled with zinnias, peonies, lilies, asters and roses.  How can you resist.    You have gathered a marvelous bundle of colorful summer flowers and foliages.......
