image004.11.02.81.96 Mums-1.gif (84877 bytes) To prepare your chrysanthemums for the longest vase life, remove the lower foliage.  Check for broken stems and damaged upper leaves and remove these as well.  Save the broken flowers to use in small arrangements.  Even a stemless head can be floated in a bowl for a touch of autumn color.  
Fully-rehydrate the flowers in a preservative water mixture and last, spray their faces with Crowning Glory to seal in the moisture.  Now, you are ready to design.
