image004.11.02.82.53 Carnation-2.gif (42530 bytes) A Christmas topiary tree of carnations is a festive addition to your holiday décor or the perfect gift for a special person.  Begin by gathering a dozen carnations in your hand and tie them together with bind wire.  Not too tight: you want them to be able to drink the water.
The base is a 4” clay pot and liner.  A little less than 1/3 brick of floral foam is secured in place using the railroad taping technique.  This will leave the center open for stem insertion.
