| To use blooming branches in an early spring bridal bouquet, harvest them at least a week early. Give them a soaking bath for about 1 hour in tepid water. Then, give the stem end a fresh cut, whittle the sides to expose the bare wood and set them in a vase of water mixed with flower food to bloom out. The warmer and brighter the room, the faster they will bloom. Once the blossoms are perfect, you can refrigerate them to hold just right until the big day. | ||
