| I love receiving calls, letters, e-mails and even in-person visits
from graduates who have followed their dreams and “did something they love”.
Almost every day we get a note here at FDI telling us about a new website, a store
opening, a dream realized. We pass them around the creative center and the classrooms to
share in the joy of the successful graduate. It truly makes our day – what an
honor to be part of a student’s successful career move. A note from Nicole: “Thanks for all of your help and great instruction last summer. I don’t want this email to come across as ‘blowing my own horn’, I apologize if it does – just wanted to let you know how a former student was moving along into the world of floral design…” Nicole Iverson recently “checked in” and I just had to share.
