Begin the construction of the nest with barked wire. Shape a six-foot length of
barked wire into a twelve-inch diameter circle, wrapping the wire on itself. This circle
is the rim of your nest.
Cut four twenty-inch lengths of barked wire and fasten these to the
nest rim like spokes of a wheel allowing a two to three inch depression in the center.
Wrap the wire tightly at each crossing to hold the wires firmly in place.
When you are finished, you will have a rough frame similar to the picture. Your design
bowl will easily fit in place.
