| Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. Decorating is often more
relaxed. There is no frenzy of finding the perfect Christmas tree. Left over Halloween
décor can be slightly adjusted and look just grand for the month of November. You just
need to get rid of the webs, spiders and ghosts - add a few autumn squash and baskets of
apples and you are done. This is an easy time to include the whole family in the decorating. Even the youngest can get involved if you keep it simple. Enjoy our Thanksgiving is for Kids demonstration. This will give you the creative push to gather the clan and decorate away – the more the merrier. If you don’t have your own kids or if they live too far away, just borrow a couple - I’m sure there is a nearby busy mother that would be happy to share for an hour or two. As a primer, this week's design demonstration, Thanksgiving is for Kids will give you step-by-step instructions. Print them out and add them to your design notebook. Now that November is here, it is time to get started on holiday designing. Don't forget that this week's class, Holiday Ribbons & Bows is scheduled for Thursday, November 20. Yes, the holidays are just around the corner. Join us and learn the tricks and techniques for tying up beautiful packages and making perfect bows. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Coming up next week on Tuesday, November 25 is a favorite class, Thanksgiving Candlelight Centerpiece. Join us for creative fun and take home your own beautiful autumn candlelight centerpiece. To accommodate everyone's busy schedule, this class is available both in the afternoon and the evening. |
