Saint Patrick’s Day is Here!

I know, it is not the 17th but my, oh my! This year St. Patrick’s Day is turning into a full week! Downtown Portland was packed with “green” revelers all weekend. I can only wonder how they will feel as the work week begins. Hmmmm….. guess I am glad to be old enough to know better!

I too started the holiday a bit early with a festive green bouquet and wonderful dinner of Corned beef and cabbage. I guess we never get too old to join in the festivities.  It is not too late, gather your own green flowers and create a Saint Patrick's Day Green bouquet. Then, off to the store for a corned beef brisket and cabbage for your own Irish celebration.

Spring is here and the prom season has begun.  Join us on Thursday March 19 for An Introduction to Wrist Corsages.  There is always something new to learn at Floral Design Institute.

Have you wondered how to create really large arrangements, decorate tents or wedding canopies?   Now is the time to register for for our three-day Career Enhancement Seminar, Large Scale Floral Design scheduled for March 25, 26 and 27.
