Also
known as "Cold Glue", Oasis Floral Adhesive is a wonderful product that allows
you to actually glue fresh flowers to ribbon or tule, to foliages and garland. This
product adds a whole new dimension to corsage making. Floral Adhesive comes in an easy to
use 39 gram squeeze tube, with resealable cap.

Floral
Clay Adhesive
Commonly called "Stickum", "Floral Clay", and "Cling", this
material is a sticky clay like material used to adhere anchors and kenzans into floral
containers. For a secure bond between the anchor and the container roll a small
piece of clay between your hands to warm it and create a thin "snake" of clay.
Form the clay into a circle on the bottom of the anchor. Then press the
anchor into place with a twisting motion.

Floral
Foam Bricks
Commonly called "wet foam", floral foam is the primary material for making
modern floral designs. Floral foam is designed to absorb and hold water in it's capillary
structure. Flower stems properly inserted into floral foam will be held in place and
can draw water up into the flower stem from the floral foam. Before designing an
arrangement, floral foam should be allowed to soak in a solution of water and floral
preservative / food. Each brick is 9"x4"x3".

Water
Tubes 4.75"
These are just like the water tubes above, but 4.75 inches in length. The longer
tube is great for roses and other heavy-drinking blossoms.

Water
Tubes 2.5"
These water tubes taper to a pointed and barbed end. I often use them for
short-stemmed blossoms like cymbidium orchids, setting the water tube into the floral foam
with the other flowers in a design. You can tape the tube to a dowel or plant stake
and create an extender for short stemmed flowers. To add delicate blossoms like
violets to a wired and taped bridal bouquet, I insert the blossoms into a water
tube, then wire & tape the water tube and add it to the bouquet.

Barked
Wire
This stuff is really cool! It is a 22-gauge wire covered with a bark-like natural
organic material. Looks very much like a long, skinny root. It is wonderful for
building floral armatures and makes a great banding material. I have even seen
bridal bouquet holders made of this wire. Beautiful!. This wire is simply a
"must have" for every floral designer's tools kit.

Anchor Pins
Anchor
Pins are used to secure floral foam into a container. 1 inch in diameter by 1 inch
high, anchor pins provide the additional security needed in some arrangements. When I am
creating an Asian styled design in a very shallow container where the foam covers only a
small portion of the container's bottom and taping is difficult, I always use anchor pins
to keep the foam from shifting. A small piece of floral clay adhesive is used to
hold the anchor pin in place.
