Design notes: Clematis vine is perfect for draping over the top of an arrangement adding a dynamic line and blossoms appearing to float over the arrangement like butterflies. Clematis vine is a delightful addition to a hand-held cascading bouquet.

Purchasing hints: Purchase vines with turgid leaves and several unopened blossoms. Fully opened blossoms are easily damaged in shipping.

Additional notes: Clematis blossoms which have matured, gone to seed and dried are sold as "Old Man's Beard". This dried material is beautiful in dried arrangements.
