Hello! :) I am a graduate of the Beginning and Advanced online courses and interested in continuing my studies with this Bouquets To Carry workshop. It looks like the content is different from the the courses I've already taken, with possibly a few overlaps. Is that correct? Do you think this course would be a good way for me to continue my studies?
Also, can students submit all 7 projects for critique or are we restricted to just three?
I so enjoy spending Wednesdays with you on the Live Broadcasts. Thanks so much for all you do for the floral industry.

    Hi Diane,

So good to hear from you. And, we love the Wednesday Live Broadcasts as well. So glad you are joining us.

This new course, Bouquets to Carry is designed as an extension to Basic and Advanced Design. There will be a total of 4 courses in this new program combining to complete the Certified Wedding Florist certification.

The designs build upon the skills obtained in Basic and Advanced. There is some review such as care & handling and pricing. The designs, mechanics, and techniques go beyond the Basic and Advanced teachings. I know you will love this program.

There are required submission designs to complete the course. We do recommend you complete all of the designs. They would not be loaded into the student portfolio but can be submitted separately for a quick review.

Can’t wait to have you join us!

    Leanne

I’ve graduated basic, advanced as well as wedding specialist courses, I am looking to keep learning, in all areas of floral design. Leanne recommended this workshop, I would like to know if it’s mostly review of what I learned in the Wedding specialist program or is there newer up to date info and design since I graduated 7 years ago?

Hello Genevieve, The original Wedding Floral Specialist course was a comprehensive program. It covered many of the same theories and techniques. The new course includes the original pertinent information and is expanded with updated theories, materials, and styles. I'm sure you will see some overlap and, I am sure you will see quite a bit of new information. The armature cascade and hoop bouquet are two favorites!
