Love Letters

Brinley

This course has exceeded all my expectations!  I loved the in depth videos, the recipes of each arrangement, and of course the fact that I was able to do it all on my own time!  I am so excited to begin the job hunt and put all I have learned to the test out in the real world! Thank you!

I continue to be extremely grateful for the empowerment that all you taught me has given me. You filled my floral design toolbox with countless treasures for exploration and floral design fulfillment. I simply love it!

Hello Leanne,  First of all I just want to say "I love you" .  Thank you so much for your video sessions.   I've been following you in years.  I even went to take some classes, with you teaching approximately 4 years ago. I just want you to know that I appreciate all your floral videos.  You have given me so much knowledge and support throughout the years. You are the most talented, beautiful person on earth next to Martha Stewart :).  I wish you continued success. Your forever avid fan,

Kelly

Dear Leanne, I've been watching and re-watching this fabulous series of clips for some weeks mainly because of you, your manner and evident love of floral art is so accessibly presented, the projects, interesting and well thought through, easily repeated by the enthusiast or professional. I eagerly await further demonstrations, and wish you every success in doing what you so obviously love!

Hi, Leanne!  I have been meaning to send this email for the last few years, but this year I can no longer put it off!  I don’t know if you remember me but my wonderful husband gave me gift certificates to take the basic, and then the advanced floral classes as a distance learner  several years ago.  As someone who does love to play with flowers, I had such fun learning the “real” concepts involved in floral design, but never really had a plan to open or work in a flower shop.  I just continue to do arrangements for myself, friends and family, albeit much better than before my classes!

2 years ago I went to a local flower shop here in Hattiesburg, MS – one that had helped me with my studies – and asked to help at Valentine’s Day.  They graciously allowed that!  They were impressed that I had my own knife, scissors, etc and actually knew how to use them!  I did a few rose arrangements and some cash and carry roses.  This year I asked again, and they invited me back!  (Whew – I hadn’t put them out of business last year!!)  When I arrived Monday afternoon I found that this very small shop was down a designer!  (Talk about being nervous….)   Well, long story short, I did almost all of the rose arrangements – from single stems in paper to the grand luxury dozens, as well as some spring flower arrangements that seem to have been popular for Valentine’s Day this year. They have asked me to come back for Mother’s Day, too.

I guess what I am trying to say is this…. I know I was not exactly your target audience with no plans for a floral design career, but even so, all the wonderful things that I learned really did prepare me extremely well to act as a floral designer.  I continue to watch the weekly videos and Facebook live sessions, and I always learn something new.  I will be retiring from my “current” career as a nurse here in a few years and – who knows?  Maybe it will turn out that I really am your target audience!

Thank you for all you do – and all you have done for me!
