Anna Bowman

Anna was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii and has always been surrounded by beautiful flowers. She was fortunate to have a multitude of tropical flowers growing in her parents' yard. “An outfit wasn't complete until the plumeria or gardenia was in my hair.” This early love of flowers set the stage for a career in floral design.
After moving to Oregon, completing a degree in eduction, marrying her college sweetheart, raising two incredible sons and retiring from a position in Instructional Technology, Anna attended the Floral Design Institute. It was there that her love for flowers blossomed into the business that she has today. Studio Flowers is the result of seeing a skill honed and a life-long dream realized. “I am proud to provide beautiful floral arrangements for any occasion. The joy they bring is an affirmation that this is the path I was on all the time.”
Anna is now an instructor at Floral Design Institute combining her educational background with her floral design acumen and passion for flowers. “I delight in seeing the students learn and use these tools to become successful and happy in the world of floral design themselves.”
When Anna is not teaching or preparing for floral design events she enjoys sporting events with her husband, her book club, exploring new trails on Mt. Hood, and being with her sons and their wives, especially when it includes her grandson, Brett.
