Just in time for homecoming, the headpiece with easy mechanics. Let me show you how it's done.
The base, you saw it in Tulip Tuesday, the headband with galax leaves. You can see it there. The rest, taking some lily grass, pulling it together, lining it up, giving it a cut. So we just want the tips. And then to hold that in place using a stapler, just pulling it in. You can go back with the others and make a loop and a loop and a loop. And then again, using your stapler, holding that together, cutting off the ends. And if you prep everything ahead of time so you have your pieces, little bit of the myri and a tiny bit more, spray roses, and then the beautiful ranunculus, and that variegated green and white, totally cutting it down. So then you're ready to design.
With all the bits ready, just want to prep it with a little bit of the Oasis floral adhesive. Place it on the base of each bloom. Let it begin to set and once that sets, then it's so very easy and little bits of everything else and pulling the headpiece place just a bit of glue directly on. Then on the smaller portions, a little bit of myri. Let it begin to set. Place it in, a little more of the myri, setting it in. Just letting things begin to adhere. The lily grass. Doing all your delicate items first and letting those secure before you go back and add your flowers.
Next up the spray roses, tucking them in. And it works best if you push it down, pull it off, and then place it back. Same thing, push it down, pull it off, put it back, creating a nice base. Then lastly, the ranunculus, separating it out, finding the perfect spot, and then nestling it in, and then holding it with just a bit of pressure until it sets.
The recipe. One headband, two Galax Leaves, two Spray Roses, one stem of Meyeri, three stems of Ribbon Grass, and one fabulous Ranunculus and it's ready to wear for homecoming, prom, or the wedding. Anytime you want to be a princess.
