Bouquets to Carry
The workshop begins with a review of flower care and handling and the sourcing, purchasing, conditioning and storage of wedding flowers. You will learn about floral care products, hydration and preparation of flowers, plus special conditioning requirements. You will learn about the supplies needed to create bouquets to carry, and, you will learn a variety of professional mechanics for making these bouquets.
In each lesson there are detailed, how-to videos, written instructions, shopping lists and online quizzes designed to help with comprehension. This is a hands-on workshop. You will learn the seven most popular wedding bouquet design styles and the universal design techniques and mechanics for the creation of these bouquets. You are encouraged to create all seven and are required to create, photograph and submit three designs for formal critique.
You will be amazed at the both the quality and the depth of the material in this program. You will learn how to create a bouquet in a straight handled round bouquet holder, and the techniques for creating a European styled spiral hand-tied bouquet.
The magical hand-wired bouquet will no longer be a mystery and we will help you master the required techniques for this design. You will learn to create a stunning on-trend bespoke garden styled bouquet using a chicken wire armature and a gorgeous cascading bridal bouquet using a slant-handled cascade holder.
You will explore the newest trend-setting styles and techniques as you create a pave styled bouquet in a European round bouquet holder and an avant garde hoop styled bouquet.
