Description: Dense, ball-shaped clusters of vibrant green florets. These florets are tightly packed together create a fluffy, almost moss-like texture, resembling a small green pom-pom or ball.

Botanical facts: Green Trick Dianthus is a cultivated variety, bred for its unique appearance. It is not a naturally occurring species but rather a result of selective breeding.
Design notes: Green Trick can add dramatic color, texture and interest to an arrangement. The blooms, cut short can be used as a pave' or pillowing technique.
Purchasing hints: Purchase flowers with tight buds. Avoid flowers with broken stems, shattered blooms, split calyx, or blossoms with the pistil exposed above the blossom.
Conditioning: Remove all foliage that will be below the water line. Cut two inches off of the stem ends with a sharp knife. Hydrate in a solution of water and commercial floral food for two hours before storage or usage.
