Leanne Kesler

Leanne has been an active designer, speaker, floral design teacher and floral business consultant for over 30 years. She has served as Retail Director, Education Coordinator, and past President for the Northwest Florist’s Association. She also served as President of the Oregon and Southwest Washington Unit of Teleflora. Leanne is an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers AIFD, and an education member of the Society of American Florists. Leanne has been elected to membership in the Professional Floral Communicators International and has earned the designation AIFD Certified Floral Evaluator and Judge. In 2023 Leanne was inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture, AAF. Leanne creates and designs the educational classes and programs at Floral Design Institute and teaches in the classroom as often as possible.

An accomplished floral designer who has studied with designers throughout the world, Leanne has a passion for teaching others the art and skills of floral design. While she has earned many titles in her career, the one that she prefers is the one given to her by her students, "The Lady Who Makes Floral Design Fun and Easy".
