Rikki Begay
Assistant Creative Director
Rikki’s passion for photography began at an early age with her father coaching her on how to use a camera and the art of photography. Her passion grew in high school and college with the introduction of video, producing short films, creating scripts, filming, directing, and editing. Rikki obtained a BFA from the Academy of Art University and launched her career with an emphasis in Photography.
Rikki joined the FDI staff in 2022 as the Assistant Creative Director responsible for photography, videography, livestream broadcasts and management of e-mail campaigns. Her skills and passion have been a great asset in the growth of Floral Design Institute and have earned the respect of her co-workers and students. Most recently she has been sharing her passion by teaching students the photography, videography and social media skills that will assist them as professional floral designers.
Rikki loves the Pacific Northwest and the wealth of outdoor activities that it offers. When she is not working you will find her hiking, camping, snowboarding, and spending time enjoying nature.
