This simple flower arrangements workshop for beginners begins with a review of flower care and handling and working with a flower knife. You will learn about floral care products, hydration and preparation of flowers, and special conditioning requirements. You will learn how to cut flowers in a manner that is best both for the flowers and your body.
Then you will move on to designing flowers in a vase. The how-to video instruction will lead you step-by-step in the creation of a beautiful arrangement. Next is designing in floral foam. You will learn the proper methods for soaking foam and inserting flowers in foam. The step-by-step instructions lead you through the placement of foliage, main flowers, and secondary flowers so you create a dramatic design. In the final segment, you will learn to create a Hand-Tied Bouquet. This is the most challenging design, but with our step-by-step instructions, you will find that you are up to the challenge. You will be amazed at your ability to create a gorgeous Hand-Tied design.
In each simple floral arrangement lesson for beginners, there are detailed, how-to videos, written instructions, shopping lists, and online quizzes designed to help with comprehension. This is a hands-on wedding florist course workshop. You will be creating three designs, photographing, and submitting the photos to our instructors for constructive critique and valuation.
